A new off road duathlon event is being held in Whinlatter Forest Park, near Keswick, on November 15th at 10:00am.
The race distance is a 5.5km trail run, 15km mountain bike followed by another 5.5km trail run. Entries are limited to 200 and the race is expected to fill up quickly.

The event is entirely off road & the first time a duathlon has been held at this location. Whinlatter Forest is a fantastic area for trail running & mountain biking so hopefully it will be a good event. The run routes are a combination of well surfaced singletrack & forest trails & quite hilly! The mtb (mountain bike) route is a good mix of technical singletrack & forest roads incorporating the new bike trails.
Also, I am looking for bike racking for the transition area. If any clubs have these that they could lend out for the event, please contact me.
