Event organisers Conference 2010

The Events conference is put on for you- the event organiser to find out more about what is going on in your sport, gain knowledge and understanding around the important issues faced by triathlon events running in the UK, and give you the opportunity to network with industry experts and fellow event organisers.

As you now know, the events conference has moved date and location. We will be running the event in conjunction with the TCR show (13th and 14th of Feb 2010). Organisers will get free entry into the show during lunch on the Saturday, and all day Sunday.

The details are as follows:

Date: 13th Feb 2010

Venue: Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey

Time:9.30am-4pm

Price: £15- Meal ticket included

Programme to include: Event Organisers qualification, Event Accreditation, Open Water Safety, Event insurance, Road Permissions and Sustainability. There will also be two workshops on Risk Assessments and major Events bidding.

There will also be a race t-shirt competition- to find the most innovative t-shirt design available on the market- if you think your stash is up to it, there’s a prize for the winner.
