16/01/2010 - Ladies Try A Tri Event

Alnwick Triathlon Club will be hosting a ladies try a tri event on Thursday January 28th. This free event aims to encourage women to have a go at the exciting sport of triathlon in a relaxed environment. The emphasis is on enjoyment and completion of the event, rather than ‘racing’.

The event will be held at Willowburn Sports Centre, Alnwick, the swim, cycle and run sections will be timed, though you will have time to change between the sections. The swim takes place within the regular ‘ladies only’ pool session, though the gym will be open to the general public during the cycle and run sections. Spot prizes will be awarded on the night. Minimum age 16 on the day.

The closing date for receipt of entry forms is Wednesday 27th Jan 2010, or, when entry limit of 20 is reached.
