Regional championship events 2010

Following discussion at the most recent meeting, the regional committee are pleased to anounce that the following races will act as the regional championships for 2010.

When making the selection, preference is given to established races (The Ryton Tri Standard distance race is a new name, but it is the established Prince Bishops’ race) run by local clubs and that still have entry slots remaining, and to races that have not been the championship race previously where several races may qualify to be the championship.

Entry to the events below can be seen under the '2010 events calender'. The events listed below will also feature in the 'Regional Grand Prix' section of the website shortly.

- Sprint Distance: The QE2 Sprint Triathlon (06/06/2010)

- Standard distance: The Ryton Tri standard distance triathlon (11/07/2010)

- Middle distance: The Cleveland Steelman triathlon (03/07/2010)

- Duathlon: The City of Durham (Meadowfield) (18/04/2010)

- Aquathlon: The Killingworth aquathlon (11/04/2010)
