It is vital that clubs in the North East continue to work towards these accreditations - which are basically minimum standards for any club. If you have achieved your club accreditation then it you should be continuing to work through your club development plans which formed part of your accreditation file. These standards are about to be monitored closely by outside bodies.
There is some funding available for clubs through various schemes to help them achieve or maintain their standards. The region has a small budget to help with club development but access to this will only be available to clubs who are working towards club accreditation or have achieved it. There are several benefits to club accreditation: higher profile; national awareness; access to regional funds; etc with more coming soon.
If anyone needs any help on their accreditation then please feel free to contact your Regional Development Officer, Paul Jones.
The workshops and courses in the area are available now to help you achieve Club Accreditation. The North East is leading the way on this and it is still aiming for all Clubs to become accredited.
