A message from Andrew MacRae
Andrew MacRae, who is a member of Total Racing Int, has come along way since competing in his first triathlon, three years ago. He is now very prominant on the North East triathlon circuit with a string of victories to his name.
However on April 11th he will be jetting off to pastures new after landing a dream teaching job in Dubai. Before he leaves, he would like to publicly thank everyone who has helped him reach his potential in the sport and also to wish everyone a successful 2010 season:
"As some of you know I am off to sunny Dubai on the 11th April. This will therefore mean that I will not be participating in any of the North East Races for 2010. With this in mind, I would like to wish everyone all the best for the 2010 season.
I would also like to thank everyone who has supported me over the past three years. In particular I would like to thank: Phil Gray and everyone at Total Racing International for the support, advice and equipment which has allowed me to compete at a high level over the 2009 season. Also to Peter and Lisa Tweddle - For getting me to train and teaching me how to swim, and for there continued support.
And finally also to Sun City Triathlon Club for getting me started and NE31 Tri Club for allowing me to train with them. Thank you to everyone who has supported me.
I definitely plan to keep training and competing whilst in Dubai. I will also look forward to coming back to compete in the North East in the future too. Finally, I would like to wish everyone a successful 2010 season!"
All the best,
Andy MacRae, Total Racing Int.
