14/06/2010 - Couple Challenge Swim

To coincide with the Couple Challenge Triathlon Festival at Newbiggin on 24th July, the organisers at Tri Northumberland are bringing you a brand new open water swim swim event taking place the day before the triathlon.

There are two events that athletes can chose from - a 1500m or 3000m swim and the closing date for entries is 16th July.

Tri Northumberland are also hosting weekly open water swims every Thursday 18:00 - 20:00 at the QE2 Lake in Wansbeck - no swimming in the lake any other time without prior approval from lake owner. Tri Northumberland in partnership with Tri4U and MVsport are on hand providing coached sessions alternative Thursday's. The next one is 17th June.
