19/07/2010 - Hetton Junior Triathlon - Results

A large contingent of youngsters, aged between eight and 18, descended on the Hetton Lyons Country Park at the weekend for the second open water junior triathlon.

Competitors came from as far a field as Birmingham and Scotland for the draft legal event and all of them finished with a smile on their faces. The event was ideal preparation for the up and coming Inter Regional Championships, due to be held in September with local athletes battling for places on to the North East team.
