You can now get your nominations in for the BTF Workforce awards. So far the North East has submitted one nomination but that is the only one from the 3 Northern regions; NE, Y&H and NW so please act now, and not do not do think “ I will leave it until later” so we ensure the North gets its deserved recognition this year.
This year we have decided to open the nomination process for the Workforce, Club and Event of the Year awards earlier to enable you to submit nominations throughout the main competition season. Further we have revised our categories, increasing the number of coaching categories to enable us to recognise the diversity of coaches in our sport.
The workforce categories for 2010 are:
· Volunteer
· Young Volunteer (Under 21)
· Official
· Children’s Coach
· Participation Coach
· Performance- Development Coach
· High Performance Coach
· Young Coach (U21)
The nominations for both Club and Event of the Year are also open from today. As in previous years the Regional/Welsh winners of these awards will be determined by the Regional/Welsh Committees before being forwarded on to the appropriate National Panel.
The key dates for the 2010 awards are below:
Nominations Open: NOW!!!
Nominations Close: 6 September – 12pm
Voting Opens: 14 September – 12pm (Workforce Awards)
Voting Closes: 1 October – 12pm (Workforce Awards)
Communication will be sent on 1 October identifying the Regional, Welsh and Scottish winners with all National winners being determined by 15 October, when this information will be distributed.
