Redcar Sprint Triathlon is Go.
"We finally have the all clear for this brand new event on Sunday 31st July.
It’s a fully closed road Sprint Distance Triathlon based on Redcar Seafront. Promoted by Redcar & Cleveland Council together with TriHard Events.
It has a 750m sea swim in the sultry azure of the Mare de Nord. (Come on use your imagination.)
The bike course is four, 5k flat and fast laps along Redcar Esplanade and part of the Coast Road, all fully closed to traffic. The run is all paved and will be two, 2.5k flat and fast laps.
It will be and exciting racing on a spectator friendly course. Not only that, but it also has a very sociable 11.30am start time.
