Noble Vehicle Hire are providing the North East with a brand new Mercedes van to assist with the transportation of a fleet of 25 bikes to school triathlon taster sessions.
The North East team are delivering triathlon school sessions for those kids taking part in the Corus Kids of Steel triathlon event on Wednesday 25th June at Eston. Thanks to this new sponsorship the coaches can now take plenty of bikes and helmets along to these sessions so kids have the opportunity to practice cycling and triathlon skills, such as transitions.
Georgie Rutherford, the North East Regional Development Manager said: "This new sponsorship is making triathlon a lot more accessible for kids in the region and schools are really enjoying trying a new sport. The new van has improved the quality of our coaching sessions as it means we can encourage more kids to take part."
Colin Gillespie, Managing Director of Noble Vehicle Hire said: "As soon as we heard about this activity and the request for a vehicle we were happy to support the campaign and provide a brand new Mercedes van".
