A message from Georgie Rutherford
In an earlier news posting on 17 November we informed you of a change in venue for this seminar from the Sunderland Aquatic Centre to the Raich Carter Centre. This was because the NER Swimming Gala is taking place at the same time. However the Aquatic Centre and the ASA have now informed us that they have changed their minds and think it is a good idea for us to use the Aquatic Centre.
We are trying to build links with the ASA and have been able to encourage them to let us hold the seminar there and also invite swimming coaches along. We are also allowed to have a triathlon table in the reception area promoting the sport to all the hundreds of kids and parents attending the gala.
So, to reiterate –
