6.30pm for 7pm start.
An Indoor Women-Only Tri where you swim 8 lengths then get changed out of your swim costume, go upstairs to the gym and complete the triathlon on the gym bike (5km) and treadmill (2km).
It will be a very informal affair, designed for the first timer and all abilities are welcome. The event is free and takes place on a Thursday night as that is women-only in the pool.
Last year more than half the participants went on to do their first full triathlon, some still have to get the courage up to do their first, a few did it to see if it was as hard as they thought and some did it to get an appreciation of what triathlon is like as another member of their family already competes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening and some are coming back this year to help out.
