- PJ looked at getting some leaflets made up to promote NE Regional series. Agreed to get 10,000 printed.
- Although we will be part of Triathlon England it was agreed to keep the existing British Triathlon NE logo for the time being.
- Award winners from the NE were: Tracey Sample (Volunteer of the year); Bob Hogg (Coach of the year); Tony Main (Referee of the year); Caitlin Simon (Young volunteer of the year) and Sun City Tri was race of the year.
- Suggested incentive for coach of the year was their club would get a coaching voucher.

- JL was co-opted as a NE committee member – PJ proposed, JH seconded
- Helvelyn Triathlon and Ripon Triathlon to be included in NE Grand Prix
- JH to change scoring system back to what it was but only Triathlons will count towards the NE Grand Prix
- JH requested the results are put into a certain format, he will email race organisers to request this. For events to be part of the Grand Prix they have to follow certain rules and this is one.
- PJ suggested that entry fee be raised from £25 to £50 to help cover the costs of trophies and make the Grand Prix more sustainable. This was agreed by the committee.
- League to be run the same as it was in 2006. Any club member counts towards the league score – top 4 men and top 3 women of any age to count. Entry fee also covers individual entry into the NE Regional Grand Prix.
- Access to the Regional Pool of equipment would remain at £50. This was agreed by the committee.
- Sprint Distance Championships will be Sun City Triathlon (22/07/07)

- Rob Wilkins has set an online entry system which can be used by NE events. Cuts down on admin. Available for a small fee.
